Botox®

Botox, a neuromodulator, is a popular non-surgical treatment used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. By temporarily paralyzing the underlying facial muscles, Botox prevents them from contracting, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance. This treatment is particularly effective for addressing dynamic wrinkles, which form as a result of facial expressions. Botox is typically used to treat areas such as the forehead, crow's feet, and between the eyebrows. It is a minimally invasive procedure that requires little to no downtime, making it a convenient option for many individuals seeking to improve their appearance.

Used in very small, controlled and diluted amounts, Clostridium botulinum (Botox®) - the toxin botulism - is proven to be a safe yet powerful neurotoxin effective in treating wrinkles.

Botox® blocks nerve signals sent from the brain to muscles in your face, preventing them from moving. Over time, the skin's memory fades as the muscle goes unused, thereby reducing wrinkles. Each Botox® injection lasts approximately 3 - 4 months.

You can expect minimal discomfort, temporary swelling and redness at the injection site and results will be visible within 3 - 4 weeks. We will determine how many units of Botox® will be needed to reach your end goals during your consultation.
